They pay their coaches for training, and promise more if they go pro… Even though they can’t afford baseball equipment to train with.

Starting the day without food, and without transportation, these boys have to walk hours to their local baseball field.
2:30pm
After the mid-day sun break, the boys have 4 more hours of baseball & strength training with construction site rubble.
On The Long Walk Home
Our player hopes his family was able to make enough money that day to put food on the table for dinner, but there is no guarantee.

Practice #2 ends.
Now the boys need to find the energy for the walk back home. Hopefully there will be dinner on the table tonight.

4 hours later, Practice #1 ends. They have just enough money in their pocket to choose between bread or water.
