Zero Dollar Promise

The Baseball Island Foundation is unlike any baseball academy or foundation that currently exists in the Dominican Republic. We provide a (free) pro-level player development program to help youth chase their Major League Baseball dreams, but only to those who prioritize education.

We do not participate in the traditional “buscone” system. Players who sign professional baseball contracts with MLB teams will NOT be obligated to give a percentage of their signing bonus to The Baseball Island Foundation.
